Our company’s founder, David “Dexter”
Chase has been a licensed investigator in the State of Florida since 1990,
after graduating from Florida State University with a B.S. degree in Criminology.
Since that time he has specialized in courthouse and corporate research,
criminal background and asset investigations and has developed various
innovative research methods for nursing home abuse investigations and
several class action lawsuits. He is also a member in good standing of
the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators, the National Association
of Legal Investigators and an affiliate member of the Orange County Bar
Association.
In addition he is a certified process server in Brevard, Lake, Marion,
Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Sumter counties and has been appointed
as a Notary Public in the State of Florida. Dexter has also been trained
by the Orange County courts to serve as a facilitator on the Apopka
Neighborhood Restorative Justice Program, which is a pre-trial program
involving first time juvenile offenders. In August of 2003 he completed
the Apopka Citizens Police Academy which is a 12-week course that reviews
a wide range of law enforcement services, policies and procedures.
On a personal level,
he previously served on the FSU Alumni Association Board of Directors
as the Vice President of Regional Alumni Clubs and on the Board of Directors
for the Seminole Club of Greater Orlando where he has also served as
a Past-President. Dexter is also involved with Florida Citrus Sports
where he has volunteered on the Stadium Operations Committee, the Media
Relations Committee serving the Citrus Bowl, Tangerine Bowl, Olympic
Soccer, and the Gridiron Classic All-Star Game and is a qualified Bowl
Scout. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce.
